8th ASEM Workshop

Scope of the Workshop

You are warmly invited to the 8th ASEM – Workshop for Advanced Electron Microscopy. This workshop is the annual meeting of electron microscopists in Austria bringing together researchers from academia and industry of all career levels (from students to professors) and all fields (life sciences, materials sciences, physical sciences). The workshop is open to all aspects of EM: from scanning to transmission EM and from sample preparation to data visualisation. The ASEM – Workshop especially aims at providing an opportunity for students to share and discus their work with an expert audience in a friendly atmosphere.

The conference language will be English. Thanks to the support of our sponsors the workshop is free of charge for all ASEM members.

Registration and abstract submission: 

Registration and Abstract Submission is now open. All students (bachelor, master, PhD, …) are invited to submit an abstract using the  template. Please indicate if you prefer to present a poster or give a short talk (10 minutes). Please note only a restricted number of talks will be available due to time restrains.

Deadline for registration and abstract submission: April 6th 2018

Fritz-Grasenick-Award 2017

During the workshop the Fritz-Grasenick-Award will be presented to the 2017 winners:
