The aim of ASEM is to support the scientific research in the area of elctron microscopy. Beside electron microscopy all assisting techniques are to be supported and disseminated. This aim should be reached by organizing workshops and meetings on a regular basis as well as by supporting scientific research and personal interaction. ASEM aims for international contacts in the area of electron microscopy.
